Jawahar Bal Manch for Every Child

Jawahar Bal Manch (JBM) is the invisible yet working arm and department of the Indian National Congress that is fighting the long-drawn battle against hatred, fascism, casteism, racism and communalism which seems to be getting worse in our country. Children belonging to the age bracket of 7-18 are the target audience, they are being taught the INC ideology, which is the ideology of our Constitution, which accords primacy only to secularism, liberalism, democracy, federalism and communal harmony

JBM basic unit of children called ‘titli’ (butterfly), meet once a week over the weekend to learn about the country, its political system, history, culture and constitution. They are encouraged to engage in painting competitions, crafts, theatre, camping, and visits to historical sites. Imparting physical training along with inculcation of soft and hard skills is also an agenda.

Jawahar Bal Manch Learning & Activities Overloaded

Jawahar Bal Manch is an organization formed for children ranging from 7 years to 18 years of age. The organization takes its name in honour of the first Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, one of the greatest thinker, administrator, politician and role model of the 20th century. Above all he was a great lover of children and believed firmly that the child is the father of the man and upheld the cause of the child’s development above every other concern. Jawahar Bal Manch takes its birth following the success of Jawahar Balajanavedi an organization formed for children, to awaken and nourish latent talents in them.

 

 Jawahar Bal Manch seeks to inculcate in children the qualities of Social Values, Creativeness and Innovation, Personal Effectiveness, Proactive Participation in Social and National causes, Adherence to Democratic, Secular and Socialist ideals and to take pride in the Nation. The ngaddgdograinigyoung minds will also be exposed to more fact of life in a way that will be easily understood and easy for them to relate to, rather than just academically.
