Nature Sketching

The artistically inclined children should be encouraged to sketch nature as they observe it. Artists see more colours than others and opening the eyes of young artists to the varied and exciting hues of nature could well be the making of a great artist. They should also be given chances to photograph nature of they are thus inclined. Nature photography is gaining huge popularity world over with growing awareness and the need to protect nature. The concepts fraternity, equality and compassion is one of the key purposes of the gatherings of this group. All the activities of this organization are meant only for children.

 

The plan is for the children to develop, manage and evaluate the effectiveness of these activities themselves, thus creating leadership qualities and responsibility in them — with suitable adult supervision. The ultimate aim of this organisation is to play a dominant role in the character formation of children. The functioning of this organization is to be extended nationwide. The abundant culture, civilization and tradition amassed and enjoyed by our earlier generations through universal truth, morality perseverance and patriotism should be handed over to the budding generation for the building up of a strong safe and secure nation.

Nature Study

Study Trips in groups to nature centers like Wildlife sanctuaries, Bird Sanctuaries, Botanical  gardens, Afforested areas along with knowledgeable great role in the developing public presentation skills in a child. Poetic creations like Chandanakattil, Poothappattu, Buddhanum Nariyum Njaanum, other famous stories, factual stories like that of Sadako Sasaki, have all been published in the  Kadhaprasangam forms through Eureka. It would be a great idea to start of with  teaching and training children the stories and the delivery of these. 

On spotting a talent in the any child, they could be assembled together and a workshop held, to train them in this by masters of this art form. Once trained the children could themselves collect the stories and develop them into kadhaprasangams and  the stories thus developed could be given opportunities to perform on  ingrained. . Story of Money

Stories of the rainbow, rain, the myriad wonders of nature, rivers, streams and oceans, of birds and wild beasts. The story teller needs to be fully versed in the matter he is talking about and should have made ample notes. He should have held discussion with those in the know and with his peers. And when it proceeds it may be a great idea to have the teller in the middle and the rest sitting around. Use of objects, pictures, & illustrations etc.  

 

Handwritten magazines

Hand written magazines are another way of encouraging the reading and writing habits among children. Writing skills vary among children, however these days even those with real talent do not receive & opportunity. It would be a good idea to start of with and the need to protect nature

Elocution and Oratory

There ought to be public speaking opportunities for the children where they can express their houghts and ideas, without fear. They should be given a chance to present their ideas without embarrassment or fear of ridicule from peers, elders or critics, thus enhancing their ability to communicate to large groups and to imbibe the confidence to do so.. one exercise that could be considered a starter would be an many on one interview where the interviewee stands in the middle of a group taking in and answering the questions of those in the circle. 

This is a sure fire confidence builder and can & help the child develop into literature in the form of long and short stories, poetry and drama. They should be encouraged to discuss this, present them in open venues and taught to appreciate the value of these creative works as much as possible at every suitable opportunity that can be availed. And those children who show an innate talent in the realm should be encouraged and offered training and development opportunities.
